TeerenpirttiTeerenpirtti is a log cabin located in the village of Ylläsjärvi, situated in a peaceful area in the Ahvenkangas region. The immediate vicinity of the cabin offers a 1-class ski trail and a snowmobile route. The village shop is 5 km away, and the slopes are 9 km away. The cabin is situated on its own wooded plot, with windows opening to views of the northern forest. Accommodation is available for four people, with beds located in the upper floor where the bedroom is also situated. The bedroom has a double bed, and upstairs, there are two additional single beds. The beds come with high-quality blankets and pillows. The cabin is equipped with WiFi. On the ground floor, there is a living room, kitchenette, and bathroom. The kitchen is well-equipped with an stove, quality knives, and other utensils, making cooking a breeze. The living room boasts a mood-setting and heating Tulikivi soapstone fireplace. The bathroom facilities are newly renovated, and the sauna features a high-quality Harvia stove for a comfortable sauna experience. |
The cabin is equipped with amenities for a comfortable holiday: board games for pleasant evenings and outdoor activities such as sleds and sliders. Ylläs is also an excellent destination for mountain biking, and for cyclists, the cabin provides a basic tools and cleaning supplies for bike maintenance. The location is ideal for snowmobilers, with the trail just about 300m from the yard. There is ample space in the yard for storing trailers and other equipment. From the cabin, well-maintained trails lead to routes connecting Ylläs and Levi. Enjoyable day trips can be made by riding to Muonio for coffee, Levi for lunch, or exploring fantastic routes to Pokka. Panoramic views can also be admired from the summit of Kumputunturi. |

Arriving in Ylläsjärvi The easiest way to get around the area is by car. You can transport your car on the car train up to 40 km to the Kolari station. From the train station and the airport, you can also take a bus that drops off near Eeli's shop. Kittilä Airport has several car rental agencies where you can conveniently rent a car. If you don't need to travel far, you can also manage within the area on foot. During the winter, there is a Ski-Bus connection between Ylläsjärvi and Äkäslompolo.
